How to plan for an event

Where do I rent equipment for my event?

Maison Culinaire can provide all equipment needed for your event, from tables, chairs, china, silvers, glasses, decors, linens, flowers and everything else you will need for a successful event.

Questions the event coordinator may ask you

How many guests will you be inviting?

Small or large depend on the type of event you are planning. A small gathering amongst friends may be easier to plan than a wedding reception and dinner for 200 guests or more.

Who are your guests?

Knowing whom you are inviting may reflect on the type of menu selection, service and ultimately your budget.

What is your budget?

Decide what you can spend and what is important to you. It is a good idea to make an alternate plan for things that are not at the top of your list and are not so important and you can go without.

Our catering consultant and coordinator will be delighted to help you answer these questions and assist you in planning your event.

Services

Do you provide service staff?

Yes, Our professional staffs are knowledgeable in all services. From our team of chefs, event supervisors, captains, bartenders, servers and support staff, we are able to provide them at your request.

Which service is better when planning an event?

Not one service is better then the other. There are several options you want to explore when planning an event. Here are some you may want to consider, a buffet, a seated dinner, a reception without seating, family style, French service, American service, grazing station etc. Whether it is informal or formal, large or small gatherings, the facilities at your choice of location, your list of guests, and your budget, these will all be a consideration to take in your planning stages.
